Building the new KRNL Harness desktop experience
The next Harness update focuses on a clearer desktop UI, followed by Kimi K2.6 API testing and enterprise-ready forks.
We are updating KRNL Harness with a new UI for the desktop experience. The goal is to make agents, tasks, approvals, memory, and live system activity easier to understand and direct from the machine you own.\n\nNext, we plan to test the refreshed Harness with Kimi K2.6 over API to ensure the experience runs smoothly with a capable hosted model. This is upcoming validation work, not a completed integration.\n\nKarnelian remains open source. Companies can fork the project, connect their own tools and models, and adapt it into a company-wide assistant with explicit capability boundaries, approval flows, isolated workers, and an inspectable ledger.
